Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also SSC's costume designer, producer writer/music director as well as a text coach. Though generally leading from within the group of actors, at the end of her time, she was able to make her debut as a director (and the lighting design) for the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. The other roles she has played include a series of game show appearances. As a child she grew up in Walnut Creek with her siblings as well as poetry writer Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. The couple has two daughters. An amazing actress, and the perfect mother and wife. Post is an inspiration for many within Hollywood.
